Last updated: August 13th, 2026
These terms outline the warranty coverage, service process, and related policies for all custom PCs, workstations, and servers built by OrdinaryTech. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1. Parts & Labour Coverage (Standard - 2 Year)
Every OrdinaryTech build includes 2 year of full parts and labour coverage from the date of delivery or pickup.
Defective components are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. OrdinaryTech will assist with the manufacturer's RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process for any defective component within the 2-year warranty period. For major RMAs like GPU, Motherboard, Power supply (in some cases, only the shipping cost must be borned by clients). Once an RMA is approved, OrdinaryTech will handle the part replacement and associated labour. RMA approval remains at the manufacturer's discretion - if a manufacturer declines to accept a part under RMA, OrdinaryTech is not liable for the outcome.
2. Business & Enterprise Warranty Coverage (Up to 3 Years)
Business and enterprise solutions may qualify for extended warranty coverage of up to 3 years, subject to the terms of your specific quote or service agreement.
3. Manufacturer RMA Process
In most cases, defective parts must be shipped to the manufacturer for approval and replacement. Part replacement can take 2–4 weeks, depending on the manufacturer's processing time and part availability.
For major RMAs like GPU, Motherboard, Power supply (in some cases, the shipping cost must be borned by clients).
4. What's Not Included
Physical Damage
Damage caused by physical impact or misuse is not covered. This includes, but is not limited to: bent pins, liquid or water damage, visible physical damage, and damage caused by overclocking.
Motherboard & Case Swaps
Motherboard replacements and case swaps are subject to small labour fees, even under warranty, since these repairs require a full system teardown and rebuild.
Shipping
Shipping is not included as part of the Standard 2-Year Warranty. Sending your unit to us and back for a warranty claim is at your own cost, whether it's the initial trip to our Toronto service centre or a return shipment from anywhere else in Canada. Full shipping details are outlined in Section 5.
5. How Warranty Service Works
For any warranty claim, we ask customers to bring their unit in person to our Toronto service centre, where our team will diagnose the issue directly.
If you are located outside of Toronto, or are otherwise unable to bring your unit in person, you will need to ship it to us. Shipping costs to and from OrdinaryTech for warranty service are not included under the Standard 2-Year Warranty. OrdinaryTech is not responsible for damage that occurs to a unit during shipping transit.
We also offer remote technical support as part of the diagnostic process, and will do our best to troubleshoot the issue remotely before shipping or bringing the unit in-person becomes necessary.
6. Final Sale Policy
All OrdinaryTech builds are final sale. As custom-configured systems, we do not accept returns once an order has entered production.
You may cancel your order at any time before payment is processed. Our team double-confirms every order's configuration before it proceeds to production.

8. Delivery
Delivery times shown on our website or in our marketing materials are estimates only and may be affected by factors outside our control, including weather, location, and payment method.
We reserve the right to deliver outside of any estimated or selected delivery window.
